1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

PlayWood is a platform selling design products to a large community of people interested in Italian craftsmanship and furniture concepts.

2. DEFINITIONS

"Site": the website www.playwood.it which the user can access via PC, laptop, mobile phone, PDA and / or other devices.
"Terms and Conditions": these Terms and Conditions for using the website.
"Services" and/or "Service": all services available on the website (e.g. drawing download service and all other services available through the website).
"Materials": data of any kind: audio, video, documents, images, comments, ideas, suggestions, designs, biographical material and other data.
"User": any person who has completed the registration process and accesses the site.
"PlayWood Community": all users registered on the site.
"My Account": the page that the user can navigate once registered. Information about purchases, orders, news and personal data will be directly available in this section.

3. REGISTRATION

Access to the site's services and materials is completed in the online registration form: registration will take place after reading our Privacy Policy and accepting the website's Terms and Conditions. When the registration process is successful, the user receives an e-mail containing the credentials (username and password) to complete the procedure. Purchases are not allowed to anyone under the age of 18. You are responsible for protecting your password to access any personal area of the website. Registration to the site via so-called temporary e-mail addresses is not accepted.

4. LIABILITY FOR CONTENT AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

A user can download materials from the site only when the registration process has been successfully completed. The user undertakes to use the service exclusively for legal purposes and without damaging the rights of third parties. Space Matters Srl is not obliged to check the material sent by the user and will not carry out any preventive control, as it is not subject to any general supervision obligation and, therefore, will not be held responsible for the materials, errors or omissions in them, nor for any direct or indirect damage caused to the user and / or third parties using or not using the service. Furthermore, should Space Matters Srl become aware that any of the published content is in violation of third party rights or illegal in nature, Space Matters Srl will verify the situation and, if the illegal action is confirmed, will immediately remove it. The user is personally responsible for the material he/she submits and authorizes the publication, screening and disclosure by the press or the Internet for purposes of information or advertising of Space Matters Srl. (e.g. promoting special initiatives, press releases, on-line/off-line publications, without the user having the right to object or complain).

The user is aware that, by sending material, he/she undertakes to guarantee Space Matters Srl the right - not subject to any remuneration - to use, adapt, publish, distribute, reproduce and perform the contents and in general exercise all related rights, and is the only party responsible for these activities. At the time of sending any material, the user accepts and is aware that it will be visible to all other registered and unregistered surfers. The user acknowledges that it is forbidden to include, publish, distribute (or give others the opportunity to do so) material that: a) is offensive, abusive, defamatory, defamatory, pornographic, vulgar, obscene, child pornographic, blasphemous or which does not comply with the principles of public order or public decency, or which could harm minors in any way; (b) disturbs public or private peace, which directly or indirectly offends or harms anyone, or which encourages others to carry out illegal or criminal actions that would be subject to criminal and civil liability; (c) is in violation of civil, criminal or special laws (e.g. intellectual and industrial property rights, copyrights, privacy law, etc.); (d) is in violation of the law of the United Nations, or is in violation of the law of the United Nations, or d) contains viruses or other programs to damage or interfere with the proper functions of the service; e) contains advertising, promotional or other solicitation material that is not required or desired.

You acknowledge and agree that it is prohibited to include in your account page:

  • sensitive data
  • personal data of third parties (including images and photos) without prior permission for publication and disclosure.

The user agrees not to copy, reproduce, process, alter, modify, transcribe, duplicate, communicate, distribute or otherwise disclose any copyrighted material without clear written permission and consents from the owners of intellectual property rights. By submitting the material, the user is fully responsible for everything described therein and declares to be solely responsible to Space Matters Srl and third parties, for any statements made and content submitted and explicitly releases Space Matters Srl and its partners from any claims or damages to claims that may be made by the author or rights holder or third parties with just cause.
 

5. SERVICE ARRANGEMENT AND AVAILABILITY

Space Matters Srl does not guarantee complete and consistent service functions, nor does Space Matters Srl give or acknowledge any other guarantees. Space Matters Srl may suspend, interrupt and modify the service without notice and without the right for the user to make complaints (e.g. if the system is congested or overloaded the Company has the right to proceed with normal emergency maintenance of the service. Space Matters Srl shall not be liable for delays, malfunctions, suspensions and interruptions - for the user or parties directly or indirectly related to the user - in providing the service if they occur and are not intentional. You expressly agree that PlayWood may send communications, including changes to the terms of service, by email. The provision of the services is governed by specific regulations published for each service. These special terms and conditions are in addition to the website Terms and Conditions and in the event of any conflict, the website shall prevail.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All rights, title and interest in the site, content and service are and will remain the exclusive property of Space Matters Srl. The user acknowledges that the site, service and software are the exclusive property of Space Matters Srl and that they may contain confidential information and are protected by applicable law. Space Matters Srl grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the site, service and software. The user agrees not to alter or grant (free of charge or charge), distribute, disclose or create derivative works based in whole or in part on the site, service or software. The user further acknowledges and agrees that the acquisition of any material or data through the service is at your sole risk and therefore you are liable for any damage to the system or loss of data caused directly or indirectly by your use of the service.

Space Matters Srl is not responsible for material created or published by third parties to which the site www.playwood.it has a link. Anyone visiting a site linked to PlayWood's site does so at their own risk.

8. MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONS

These conditions must be accepted in order to use the service. By using the service, the user agrees to be constantly informed and updated on any changes to the conditions. The new conditions for the use of the site will be immediately effective from the moment they are published and will replace the current ones.

9. INVALIDITY OF CLAUSES

In the event that any of the clauses contained in these website Terms and Conditions should be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining clauses shall remain in force.

10. LAW AND JURISDICTION

These conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes relating to the interpretation and / or execution of the conditions will be referred to the Court of Reggio Emilia.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE

The user declares to have explicitly understood and accepted these conditions for the use of the site, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1341 (2) and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code. These conditions for the correct use of the website are expressly accepted by the user through registration on the website www.playwood.it. Countries listed below are included in the European area: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, San Marino.

Due to customs and logistics costs, customers requiring shipping to the countries listed below will be contacted directly by our customer service: Norway, Switzerland and European Islands (Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Azores).

1.1 SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping options may vary based on weight, volume, type of product purchased and delivery address. For this reason we offer many combinations to ensure an efficient and convenient service for our customers. In the shopping cart, shipping costs are calculated automatically. If you have any questions, write to us and our customer service will take care of your order, sending an estimate of shipping costs. The estimated time of arrival and the required documentation will also be provided.

1.2 DIRECT DELIVERY

According to the new anti-COVID19 health regulations, the product may not be delivered directly to your home, so the courier will leave the goods outside your home or outside your building.

1.3 ARE NOT AT HOME WHEN THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED

If you work during the day, it is best to have your order delivered to your work address to avoid any problems. If you have a personal address, the courier will deliver the goods to the one specified in the order confirmation. It is important to provide a phone number in case we need to call you. PlayWood is in no way responsible for non-delivery of the product due to errors in entering the shipping address by the customer. In case of absence, the courier will leave a delivery attempt: during the other 2 attempts the product will be stored in nearby facilities and in this case additional charges may apply. The customer agrees to contact the courier. If the order is not collected within 10 days, the goods will be returned to PlayWood, which will refund the retail price of the product, with the exception of shipping costs and any other additional costs which will be at the customer's expense.

2. ORDER STATUS

You can check the status of your order at any time on the "MY ACCOUNT" page. An order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours to the specified email address to inform you that your order has been shipped.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY

Before accepting the parcel, we advise you to check in front of the courier the integrity of the parcel and the number of packages / parcels delivered. If the package is damaged, even slightly (cracks, wrinkles, lumps or bumps, tears, etc.) sign the unchecked goods, writing the specific damage on the courier's note (e.g. "Goods not selected, damaged, cracked, wet, etc. . ... package "). If the courier does not allow you to sign the unselected goods, do not accept the item. The customer agrees to photograph the package and send the photographs to info@playwood.it. PlayWood agrees to contact the customer to define the following steps.

4. RETURNS POLICY

We always do our best to guarantee you a pleasant shopping experience. That's why, if you really want to return it, you can. Please contact us within 14 days from the day you receive the item and send us an email to info@playwood.it. The pick-up communication must include the order number. The refund of the amount paid will be made respecting the original payment method (shipping costs excluded). The return of unwanted products must be made within 5 days from the date of communication of the withdrawal made by the customer and delivered to PlayWood within 14 working days. Returns are governed by Legislative Decree 206/2005, which means that the return costs are borne by the customer. Please also visit our General Terms and Conditions of Sale page. Products must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered: intact, unused and undamaged.

The delivery date indicated at the time of order confirmation may be subject to change, depending on the availability of the products chosen. A possible postponement of the delivery date of the product does not give the right to request a refund of the purchased product.

PlayWood will provide a return label to correctly complete the product return procedure.

4.1 RETURN OF CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS

The following return policies apply to customised or made-to-measure items: in the event of reconsideration or desire to return by exercising the right of withdrawal, PlayWood is not obliged to accept the return. If the product received is damaged, defective or does not conform to the description, the customer may contact PlayWood and report the conformity defect found. If PlayWood offers a refund option, if the conditions are met, the customer may make use of the warranty. 

4.2 RETURN OF 2ND CHOICE PRODUCTS

2nd choice or refurbished products purchased directly from the PlayWood website cannot be returned or refunded.

4.3 RETURN OF WAREHOUSE SALE PRODUCTS

The products available in the Warehouse Sale area dedicated to business users are end-of-series products and cannot be returned or refunded.

5. THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If the package is fine but the goods are damaged, please contact us at info@playwood.it within 7 days from the date of arrival. Our customer service may ask you to send some photos of the damaged item(s) and the package. We will contact you immediately to understand the problem and fix it as quickly as possible. Visible knots or slight deformation are intrinsic characteristics of the natural materials we use, therefore they are not to be considered defects of conformity. 1.2 HOW TO MANAGE THE SHIPMENT
Shipping can be handled by us through one of our logistics partners or by the customer himself. Our warehouse is located at the following address:

We will create all the proper documentation for the export. The custom code to be referred to is HS CODE 39269097. Our product is Made in Italy, with preferential European origin.
A full pallet has the following dimensions and weights: 120 x 80 cm, 200 cm height, 550 Kgs, 1.440 pcs of connectors in total.

1.3 DIRECT DELIVERY

3. ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY

4. RETURN POLICY
We always do our best to ensure a pleasant shopping experience and satisfy our customers. For this reason, if you need to return a product, you may do so. Please contact us within 14 days from the day you receive the purchased goods and send an email to sales@playwood.it.

The refund of the amount paid will be made respecting the original payment method (shipping costs are excluded). The return of unwanted products must be made within 5 days from the date of notice of withdrawal made by the customer and delivered to PlayWood within 14 working days. (Returns are regulated by Legislative Decree 206/2005, which means that the costs of return are borne by the customer. For additional info click on General Conditions of Sale). 

Products must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered: intact, unused, undamaged with original packaging.

The shipping date indicated on the product sheet may be subject to change, depending on availability. Delivery times may vary if the product ordered is not in stock.

Any postponement of the delivery date of the product does not give the right to request a refund.

The following return policies apply to customized or made-to-measure items: in case of return exercising the right of withdrawal, PlayWood is not obliged to accept the return. 5. THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

6. PAYMENTS
You can choose between bank transfer, credit/debit cards, PayPal. Depending on your Country of residence, other payment types (e.g. Klarna) will automatically be shown among the available options. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still proceed with your order. 

We use the most secure external softwares for the management of online payments. We never store your credit card information on any of our computers.
