DIY design bed & bedside table

Here an unusual and alternative DIY project: do you wish to furnish a bedroom?

Thanks to PlayWood connectors you can create a design bed together with a bedside table. Natural materials, fir wood with fine finishes: mix of colors and textures which add a personal touch to your furniture and make your bedroom unique.

For this project we used:

8	fir layers boards 40 x 30 cm - 15,75” x 11,81”
1	OSB + white bilaminated edged board 200 x 100 cm - 78,74” x 39,37”
1	OSB + white bilaminated edged board 100 x 30 cm - 39,37” x 11,81”
8	connectors 90°
8	connectors 105°
1	Allen key #5

 

Assembly is intuitive and fast: starting from the smallest bilaminated panels joined each other by 105° connectors. You have to reapeat the same construction with the others small boards. In the end, you have to connect these structures to a long fir board through a PlayWood connector 105° to obtain the bed basement.

Afterwards, you can focus on the bedside table: the simplest thing ever! 4 small OSB boards joint through 4 PlayWood connectors.

As a last step, lay the biggest OSB panel on the structure previously built and the bedroom is furnished in a fast, cheap and personal way!
