Don’t you know where to store your coats and scarfs during winter? Would you like to have a modern and functional wardrobe, without giving up on design?

PlayWood created a DIY project which answers to these needs and features. To realize this project few and simple materials are needed which you will be able to join thanks to PlayWood assembly system. We used a bright wood, fir layers boards of thickness between 16 and 19 mm (¾” and ⅞”).

2 fir layers boards 40 x 30 cm - 15,75” x 11,81”
2 fir layers boards 100 x 40 cm - 39,37” x 15,75”
3 fir layers bars Ø 2,8 cm L 150 cm ( Ø 1,10” H 59,05”)
8 PlayWood connectors 90°
1 Allen key #5

PlayWood Projects DIY coat stand & hook - Step 1

Firstly, you have to create the basement: join each wooden panel with the other through PlayWood Connectors 90°; doing so, you can obtain a rectangular structure that can be used as a shelf. Secondly, drill the top of this rectangular structure, in order to create proper holes, where to fill in the wooden bars.

To customize the furniture you can add a couple of pillows or any other solutionable to improve the aesthetics of the furniture.
