Rubbish bins' cover for the outdoor

Recycling is an important and central topic nowadays. So we suggest a DIY project which allows you to shield the rubbish bins in a functional way, without giving up on design. A solution which lets you exploit at best your garden or terrace by giving a cover to plastic bins.
By using PlayWood connectors and wooden boards, you can easily create a sort of recycling station. This project is fast and easy to assemble: in few minutes you will get a tripartite structure, where to recycle paper, plastic materials, bottles and cans. Materials used are simple and cheap: you can fold the project once you don't need it anymore or, you can re-assemble the pieces and obtain a different modular structure.

Browse PlayWood designs and remind to use boards of thickness between 16 and 19 cm (3/4" and 7/8"); in these images we have been using fir wood, but you can use different materials.
For this project:
3 | fir Layers Boards 80 x 40 cm - 31,50" x 15,75" |
---|---|
8 | PlayWood Connectors 90° |
1 | Allen Key #5 |

Start by joining the wooden boards thanks to PlayWood connectors and obtain three rectangular spaces, where to store all the bins.
Once created the spaces, stand the structure and create a small gate, to make the access easier. No need to nail and drill!
These are the core principles of DIY: easy, fast, cheap. PlayWood helps us to improve and respect these characteristics in a funny and innovative way.
